  • What services do you offer?
    I offer online counseling, crisis intervention, and interpersonal conflict resolution in both English and Portuguese. I specialize in helping marginalized communities, such as immigrant women victims of domestic violence, people of different ethnicities, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIAPN+ individuals. I have experience in dealing with issues of aggression, violence, trauma, and stigmatization. However, my expertise doesn't limit me to attending members of other groups. The counseling process will take place if you and I are a good match.
  • What is your therapeutic approach?
    My therapeutic approach is Humanistic, specifically person-centered therapy. In this approach, we collaborate to explore your existing potential in a private and secure space. Empathy and full acceptance without judgment are this approach’s basic core. There is no right or wrong in the ways you think, feel, and express yourself in my presence. You don't need to worry about shocking or scaring me with your experiences; I'm here to support you.
  • What psychological conditions and life challenges are you specialized in?
    Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Burnout, Self-Esteem, Transnational Relationship, Identity Crisis, Life Transition, Interpersonal Conflict, Domestic Violence, Gender-Based Agression, ADHD in adults, and the development of socialization and communication in adolescents and adults with Autism.
  • Do I need psychological counselling?
    This is a question that only you can answer. However, if you ever feel overwhelmed, lost, constantly sad, have the impression that you cannot handle your emotions properly, or if you feel that you don’t fit into the world around you, which makes you feel lonely, perhaps it's time to talk to someone who will listen to you and walk with you side by side on your journey. Why not give it a try?
  • How do I know if the counsellor is the right one for me?
    You will feel that the counsellor is the right one for you in the initial sessions. If there is a connection between you and the counsellor, the therapeutic process will naturally begin.
  • I will give it a try. What is the first step?
    First, you can schedule a 50-minute consultation with me. During this meeting, we will explore your situation and define the strategy we are going to use. Because each person has different needs, the duration of the process may vary. Together, we will work to define the best strategy for you.
